We would love to say "Yes" but, unfortunately, we are unable to make-to-order or undertake alterations. We suggest you buy our fabric by-the-metre and ask a capable friend or local dressmaker to assist. For alterations, there are many small businesses that offer this service.

Our screen-printed fabrics are handprinted in Sydney, just five minutes down the road from the studio. We are able to drop in to check the colours and the printing, and pick-up the fabric.

We are now printing digitally too. Digital printing enables us to use multiple colours and it gives a lovely handle to our fabrics. We work with a small printing company in China; the studio is certified and audited by independent agency SGS to evaluate ethical work practices and conditions.

Digital printing provides some positive environmental benefits: it uses less water, creates less ground pollution, and there is no excess ink due to the precise nature of ink-jet printing.

Around 85% of our products are made in Australia. Anything printed locally is also made locally. In fact most of our garments are made within a 5km radius of our studio. We have a great relationship with our local makers and visit them often to discuss the making and to solve any issues that crop up.

Our digitally printed jersey garments are now made in China by the same company that does the printing. The business is a small family owned and run enterprise that specialises in short runs. It undergoes regular Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audits (SMETA) to ensure compliance with labour laws and health and safety practices. The business provides full-time employment to around 30 makers, pays proper overtime rates, and does not undertake piece work.

Some of our plain tees, are now also made in China. It was a difficult decision to make, but we believe our customers will benefit from the choice of colours and the cost and quality of the make.

Any placement print tees that are made in China are screen printed locally by hand here in Sydney.
